The v3 exchange

The older Saturn, still live, with its own pools and certificates.

Open v3 Swap

In shortThe previous Saturn exchange, still live. Its pools take part in swap routing and its certificates are managed on the v3 pages.

Saturn v3 is the single-contract exchange that came before v4. It still runs on mainnet with its own pools, one per pair, and the Swap page includes them in its routing. The Legacy v3 pages let you trade on it directly and manage v3 liquidity.

v3 liquidity

  • Search a pair in v3 Liquidity to see its reserves and add to it. Many pools share one contract, so you get a share of a pool rather than a pool of your own.
  • On v3 the swap fee stays in the pool. The whole amount a trader sends in joins the reserves, so every certificate's share grows and you receive your part when you remove. There is no separate claim and no treasury slice on v3.
  • Your share is a certificate, an NFT, listed under My v3 LP certificates with your slice of each side. Remove burns a certificate and pays out your share.
  • Some v3 pools pay TAZZ rewards through the TACAL contract. Those rows show a rewards button: clock in to start the timer and claim when it has run.

A v3 certificate on an RA/TAZ pair can be pledged as loan collateral in Lending, but the request has to be posted from a tool that supports it; Saturn Ops posts v4 pools only. Mainnet v3 has no RA/TAZ pair today.
